ETFO members, leaders and staff at the October 15 lunchtime rally
October 15 was the largest province-wide day of coordinated action in over a decade to defend workers' rights and demand an increase in the minimum wage.
With more than 50 actions taking place across Ontario, ETFO members, leaders and staff were active in a variety of ways to show their support for the $15 minimum wage this January, equal pay for equal work, paid domestic violence leave, sick days and much more.
To send a united labour message, members of the Provincial Executive and staff also attended a lunchtime rally coordinated by the Workers’ Action Centre, the Ontario Federation of Labour and the Toronto and York Labour Council.
ETFO is proud to offer support to minimum wage workers and calls on the Ontario government to act for the people. Tell your MPP
