Public discourse centered on anti-2SLGTBQ+ hate is harmful and dangerous, and pits parents against educators. Protests continue against the teaching of 2SLGBTQ+ content in schools under the guise of protecting children. These protests undermine the rights and dignity of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. 

There is no place for hate in Ontario or anywhere across Canada. 

We encourage all Canadians to engage in constructive conversations, listen to differing perspectives, reject bigotry, and work together to build a more inclusive and equitable society based on compassion, truth, inclusivity, and the safety and well-being of every Ontarian. Through education and respectful dialogue, we can bridge gaps and create environments where everyone feels safe, valued, and respected.
